Karla de Melo – Global Head of Reputation
Karla is a seasoned Public Relations executive specialized in Sustainability (Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC). With extensive experience in corporate reputation, strategic communication, sustainability, governance, and institutional positioning, she has collaborated with leading organizations such as Vale, Casa da Moeda do Brasil, Firjan, and Caliber.
Her career reflects a consistent track record of delivering measurable results in reputation, engagement, crisis governance, and digital transformation. Beyond her executive roles, Karla is co-author of Mulheres ESG and Gestão da Reputação, an advisory board member at Instituto Evolux, investor and advisor to Simplifica.CI, consultant in Reputation & ESG at We Plan Before (Brazil & UK), and a professor at Escola Aberje. She also volunteers as a mentor at Vai na Web and Gerando Falcões.
Her presence at Green Initiative reinforces our commitment to credible, transparent, and high-impact communication, helping us expand the visibility and recognition of our climate certifications, advisory services, and restoration programs worldwide.
Chipiliro Katundu – Head of Climate Finance, East and Southern Africa
Chipiliro brings more than 15 years of transformative leadership across financial services, digital innovation, and sustainable development. As Head of Climate Finance, East and Southern Africa for Green Initiative, he offers a unique blend of strategic foresight, climate leadership, and the proven ability to mobilize innovation for resilient growth.
His work will focus on strengthening climate finance solutions for East and Southern Africa, enabling greater access to resources and partnerships that empower local communities, businesses, and governments to accelerate climate-resilient development.
